Write for us

Everyday Match Report welcomes thoughtful pitches about matching in ordinary life: colour, patterns, objects, occasions and the customs that shape how people put things together. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than submitting an unsolicited full article.

What makes a useful pitch

Propose one focused subject and explain the question a reader will be able to answer after reading. A strong idea has a clear angle, a distinct example or comparison and a reason it matters beyond a passing trend. Keep the proposed scope suitable for an evergreen article.

The voice we look for

Write for a curious general reader. Explain specialised terms, show why a choice works before describing how to make it, and leave room for differing preferences. We welcome clear comparisons, background pieces, thoughtful myth-checking and occasion-led guides that fit the publication's subject.

Sending a proposal

Use the Contact page to share a working title, a short outline and a few lines about your proposed approach. Mention any material relationships that could affect the piece. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication, and the editorial desk may ask for a different scope.
